Family of Man Fatally Shot by Newport News Police Files Wrongful Death Suit

Justice on Wooden Piece Arranged by BusinessmanThe family of Kawanza J. Beaty, a Newport News man who was shot by police, has filed a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit.

The lawsuit claims that detective Randy Gibson Jr shot 23-year-old Beaty during a chase, after receiving a tip that he was in possession of a sawed-off shotgun.

The lawsuit names detective Randy Gibson Jr., Newport News Police Chief Richard W. Myers, and the City of Newport News as defendants.

Family Wins $4 Million in Wrongful Death Suit Against Abortionist Kermit Gosnell

Following the death of a woman at a Philadelphia abortion business in 2009, Common Pleas Judge Jacqueline Allen has awarded 4 million dollars in a wrongful death suit filed by victim’s family.

Karnamaya Mongar, 41, died at ‘The Women’s Medical Society’ due to drug-overdose. The investigating Grand Jury regarded the business as a ‘House of Horrors’ due to unsterilized medical utensils, unlicensed anesthesia administers, blood on the equipment and floor and dismembered bodies of babies kept in jars, and convicted Abortionist Kermit Gosnell of involuntary manslaughter.

Recently, the victim’s daughter Yashoda Devi Gurung has been awarded $3.25 million in punitive damages and $650,000 in compensatory damages.
